Win an Olympic Diving Experience at the Aquatic Centre in London's Olympic Park.

Come and learn how to dive at the Queen Elizabeth OIympic Park London Aquatics Centre. This opportunity is for up to ten guests to be taken one weekday morning, from 10am – 12 noon. You will be shown the basic jumps, shapes and correct take-offs with mats and trampolines followed by a dive into the foam pit. You will then transfer to the pool for a further coaching session culminating with the use of the diving boards depending on ability. Tom Daley is usually practicing then, in which case you will be able to watch his practice routine before commencing the session. NB all participants must be able to swim at least 25m and be comfortable with it

Guests are recommended to arrive at 10am as Tom Daley is usually practicing at this time, in which case you may be able to watch his practice routine before commencing the session!

The proceeds raised from this auction will support Access Sport.

Conditions: All participants must be able to swim at least 25m and be comfortable in deep water without goggles.

The Cause

Access Sport enhances the life prospects of disadvantaged children by providing opportunities to experience and enjoy the power of sports.

We do this by building thriving community sports clubs, led by inspirational local volunteers, in the most disadvantaged urban areas. These clubs then provide life changing opportunities for local, vulnerable young people whilst creating a lasting, locally-owned community resource.

Our work supports young people aged 5-25, with a particular emphasis on those under 18 who are disabled, disadvantaged or excluded from society.

We have a multi-sport approach that recognises the importance of different sports in different settings for different participants, enabling maximum inclusivity and impact—from BMX to boxing, running to rugby, sitting volleyball to sailing. Our unique experience across a wide range of sports and settings in leading cities has led us, in the 16 years since we were established in 2004, to become nationally recognised as an innovative leader in the field of community sports.

At present we are growing major youth-led movements in BMX cycling and hockey as these sports are proving to be highly successful in supporting disadvantaged and disabled young people to enhance their life-prospects.
