Roberto Mancini (Jesi, November 27, 1964) is an Italian football manager and former footballer who played as a midfielder or striker, coach of the Italian national team. Nicknamed il Mancio, he is considered one of the best attacking midfielders in the history of Italian football. He made his Serie A debut with Bologna in 1981, and then became a stalwart of Sampdoria, playing with the club for 15 seasons, becoming record holder for appearances and goals and winning the club's first and only Italian championship; after playing for the Genoese club, he played for Lazio for three years, winning an Italian championship and two European cups, before ending his career as a footballer after a brief spell at Leicester City. After retiring from playing football, he embarked on a coaching career, distinguishing himself as one of the best coaches of his generation and winning numerous trophies.
The photo was specially signed for the History Life by the CT on September 2, 2020 in Coverciano.
