Founded in 1986, City in the Community is Manchester City’s charity.
City in the Community support people across Greater Manchester by empowering healthier lives through football, engaging participants in meaningful programmes, which are categorised by three outcome-based pillars: Healthy lives, Healthy futures, Healthy communities. Under each of these three pillars sit a total of 17 programmes, which engage over 16,000 unique participants each year. Everything City in the Community do is designed to address the ever-changing needs of our city, via tangible, regular, sustained and high-quality contact time.
