Come to Trieste and take part in the biggest regatta in the world! We'll take care of the crew and the registration!
There are two places waiting for you on board “Lucky Goofy for AIRC” a splendid Grand Soleil 37 (11.6m)!
The crew of Lucky Goofy for AIRC will be made up of experienced sailors, united like you by their passion for the sea, but also by their desire to support research against cancer!

If you win, you will be supporting the valuable work of AIRC; as well as enjoying a wonderful weekend, you will therefore be helping to fund cancer research!

The boat can reach speeds of up to 8-10 knots. It is equipped with a dinette with kitchenette, two double cabins and a bathroom.

Participation in the event on this boat is recommended for those who want to enjoy the Barcolana experience in a sporty, non-competitive spirit. Barcolana è a great celebration of sailing and the sea. Participation in the Barcolana leaves indelible memories over the years.

The boat will be moored at the Yacht Club Adriaco, on the Rive di Trieste, just a short walk from the Barcolana Village, Piazza Unità d'Italia and the historic city centre (as well as a 15-minute walk from the Station).

The Team Lucky Goofy for AIRC will welcome guests on Friday 10 October from 18:00 to 22:00, at the Yacht Club Adriaco headquarters at Molo Sartorio 1.

Saturday morning there will be a technical briefing with skipper and crew, followed by the presentation of Team Lucky Goofy T-shirts and a day of training at sea between 11:00 and 15:00. The aim of the day will be to test the skills of the individual crew members and to form a real team spirit! Lunch will be packed. The detailed programme can be fine-tuned according to the actual weather and sea conditions.

Saturday afternoon it will be possible to have some free time, rest, go sightseeing in the city, etc.
In the evening Team Lucky Goofy for AIRC will take part in the great Barcolana Village party. From the piers and along the banks, amidst music and street food, it will be possible to admire the Barcolana By Night, a night regatta reserved for one-design boats.

On Sunday, we will participate in the Barcolana 57! The regatta will start at 10:30 a.m. and may last between 3 and 5 hours, depending on the wind. The crew will be able to have a packed lunch during the regatta.

The two guests will be able to use the boat for overnight stays on Friday and Saturday night, at no cost.

The Yacht Club Adriaco premises, where Lucky Goofy is moored forAIRC, has a BAR, RESTAURANT, and services accessible to members and their guests (no on-board services included).
